About me
I am a professionally trained therapeutic counsellor based in Wimbledon in South West London. A member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), my interest in therapy stems from my own personal experiences and my counselling journey has helped me find a deeper understanding, and so develop a fresh perspective, on who I am, why I am and what I want from life.
From my work with NHS clients within the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service and secondary school teenagers at Place2Be, I have experience that covers a broad range of conditions from anxiety and depression to more complex issues. This, in addition to my training at Lambeth College, London South Bank University, has also given me real life experiences across diverse cultures that help me connect with my clients.
While my past roles in blue chip companies like Lufthansa German Airlines and Hertz Europe has also given me an in depth understanding of how work can impact on mental health. Additionally my work with charities like Age UK and Young Minds has given me valuable experience in working with older persons and teenagers.
